6L90 Transmission Repair & Rebuilding
The 6L90 is the heavy-duty version of GM's six-speed rear-drive automatic, with a longer case, additional clutch capacity and higher torque rating than the 6L80. It is used behind big-block gas engines and in three-quarter-ton applications. We repair and rebuild 6L90 units for Valley work trucks.

Clutch wear in a heavily loaded truck often shows up under load first. Heat is a major contributing factor in Arizona.
